A am assumming that nuddled means nutered or fixed! I would definatly try this first! You dog seems like he may be a little over posessive of you and be jealous of the other people around that you give attention to. You may want to speak to a trainer about his behavior problem. It could get out of hand very quickly
Good luck

Although some very misguided people think all pits will turn and that is just how it is, they are usually only have knowledge of the stories they hear in the papers. Before Pits it was Rots, and Dobermans, and German Sheppard.
First thing I would do is take him into the vet and get him a check-up. Also talk to the vet at that time about neutering. Sometimes a dog can become ill or hurt and become more aggressive then usual. Also I would highly suggest neutering no matter what, it helps with animal control and will make him less likely to be aggressive around other dogs/ people and sometime is known to calm dog down if they are a bit hyper.
Also if you have not before, look into training for the dog and do this with your girlfriend. It will help show the dog that both you and her are in-charge. Training is great for both owner and dog and greatly improves the relationship as long as the training is consistent and continues through-out every day life. Talk to the trainer on any aggressive behavior you might be seeing to get suggestions on how to handle them. Also before selecting a trainer, make sure they have worked with many “aggressive breed” or “bully breed” dogs. Best of Luck!

There are several things that this could be...
1. First of all, when he bit your sis what was going on before hand.....were the playing rough, and he maybe got hurt somehow and responded to defend himself. Good dogs will only attack like that if they feel threatened.....so look back.
2. Did this start right after you moved in, sounds like the bite and moving came about around the same time. And the new girl in the house might have something to do with it also....to the dog...there is a new member of the pack....that messes up the pecking order and the dog is most likly tring to be above her.....my buddies lab was the same way for a while after he moved in with his girl.
3. The other thing is the dog might be getting sick....you might take him to the vet and have him checked out.....
And getting him fixed will help

Your dog is your owner right now, not the other way around. Pits can get protective when not properly socialized. You need professional help most likely, since he is biting loved ones. You will need to become the head of household, and be dominant over your dog. If you dog shows aggression punish him with a short tap with you hand to the side of his upper shoulder and say no very stern. If your dog shows aggression to you, get a pro involved or get rid of the dog. This must be very consistent if it works, just keep doing it until he shuts up. Do not give him praise for stopping as this will make him think he is getting praise for growling, or showing aggression, after a few minutes of him not growling then praise him for being good. This is step one.
Next, you need to walk/exercise your dog everyday for about 1 hour a day to calm his nerves and start the socialization process. At this time, without being scared, avoid others walking especially if they have dogs. If someone asks to pet him right now it is not OK. Tell them he is in socialization training, and right now is not a good time. When he no longer growls at your loved ones, you can start thinking about strangers. That's it for now, get that done and come on back here for the next step. Be consistent in your training!

You have an aggressive dog probably the result of some backyard breeder and since he's your responsibility now you're going to need to take action if you want to keep him.
I recommend that you look into hiring a proffesional dog behaviourist to help you work on your dogs aggression. Secondly, you already know he is a huge bite risk and he needs a muzzle. Some people will argue it's cruel and others will argue it's responsible. I would go with a box muzzle since he may have to wear it for longer durations. It will allow him to pant, drink, bark and receive treats. This will go well with the hired proffessional.
For now you need to make sure this dog is constantly supervised and secured. If you have guests over he needs to be confined or seperated from them. If he goes outside he needs a leash or a fenced yard (maybe both, since a lot of dogs can escape the fenced yard especially if he becomes aggressive).
Lastly, yes please neuter your dog, it may help!
Hope any of this helped.

If he is a pitbull mix, he needs to be humanely euthanized for the safety of the dog, people, and the breed as a whole.
Human aggression is NOT acceptable, especially "unprovoked."
I suggest that if you want to try and work with his behavior, and see if it can be managed safely, contact your vet and ask for a behaviorist. This is serious, and you could find your self on the bad end of a law suit should this dog ever get out and bite someone.
Get him neutered affordably through http://www.friendsofanimals.org at your local vet. This many help, but he also needs to be worked with and evaluated by a professional, who is familiar with pit bull type breeds and mixes.

Yes, get him neutered, that will help. Spend time with just him, sounds like he is jealous of other people. You have got to show him you are the leader or top dog in the pack , if you can do this, you should be able to control him with your voice. Take him to a obedience class, like at Petsmart. Good Luck !! I have a dog that would jump on other dogs all the time, I had to end up beating the crap out of her, now I just yell her name and she will stop in her tracks, not telling you to do this but it worked with her.

First neuter the dog.
Second get some professional help. Get a trainer who deal with behavioral issues. You are going to need help with this.
They dog sees your girlfriend as lower than him in the pack order. She needs to train with the dog so he gets the idea that she is aplha over him in the pack.
You have an assertive breed of dog. They will only take orders from humans who they consider to be over them. She has most likely not given him any instructions. She needs to. But you need to get help in showing her how to go about it.
Once she shows she is dominant the growling at her should stop.
But you are going to have to spend time training this dog and if she is truely afraid of the dog and not willing to work with it things will most likley get worse not better.
Get a trainer and get working.
Good luck.

"He is very friendly" It bit your sister & went for the throat!
Sorry but that is no longer true of your dog. It's shown it's self to be vicious. Once a dog bites it will happen again. You must put the dog down immediately. What if he turns on you? Neutering won't help. Do the right thing and protect your family.
