I don't want to look like a body builder or anything, I just want to be stronger and want to increase my shooting range in basketball. What things can I do at home that will help me get stronger (NOT AT GYMS so dont give me exercises that involve equipments other than dumbbells).

You can go to a local park, run some and some parks have pull up equipment that would help you. Also, by practicing shooting baskets, that will increase your shooting range, not necisarilly(sp?) your arm strength. So my reccomendation is just to practice basketball

Get in a push up position and hold it for as long as you can and practice this everyday. I dont mean doing push ups but that alson might help. I mean just holding your body like that. You should try thats what i did to be a better goalie in soccer and it has helped. My best was 2:57. Its better if you do it with music that way you are motivated.

Well, when you soot a basketball most of the power comes from your tricep, so pushups for that. But then you need to work on your forarms for that's where you get most of the control. Go to any sports store and they should have something to exercise your forarms. I have a device that exerciese your forarm I just don't know what it is called. Just ask somebody for help and I am sure you will find it.
