Wash your hair as normal and put a good deep conditioner in and wrap your hair in a towel and sleep in it. I like Aussie's Deeeep Conditioner or conditioner that comes with hair dye. Then lightly wash it in the morning, Redken makes this blow drying lotion that works really well and makes your hair so silky. put some in and blow dry it with a paddle brush. Then when it's dry rub a little Redken Glass between your hands and smooth over your hair to tame flyaways. At least I think it's made by Redken......

Deep condition your hair twice a week. Apply a good hydrating leave-in conditioner after shampooing and a little bit of smoothing serum once hair is dry. Also use a good mild shampoo that won't dry out your hair.

Is your hair rough and dry naturally or because you've beaten it up chemically? Either or...do this

1) Deep Conditioning

2) Air Dry your hair or use an IONIC Dryer on low setting

3) Stay away from harsh chemical treatments...that's hair dyes, perms, etc

You can blow dry your hair straight on a low setting using a paddle brush (The wide flat ones you see in stores). ALWAYS direct heat downwards on hair unless you want an wild untamed style! Finish off with PAUL Mitchell shine lotion.

use any kind of shampoo made espesially for dry hair. i would say use herbal essences in the blue bottle. ( it's new with coconut flavour)
to get my hair smooth, silky and healthy, i do this: i never blowdry, for my curly thick hair it's like hell. AIR DRY ur hair, it's more natural, and obviously better. try using fructis sleek&shine. they are sold in those bubble like bottles for about 4$. works like a charm. also a good shinning stuff is made by herbal essences. again it's new, comes in sparkling orange yeallow bottles, costs about 8$.
all the stuff here i use myself, and i gotta admit, it's the best so far.
oh yeah, and DONT wash ur hair everyday. it takes away natural (healthy) oils and leaves hair frizzy and dull. wash them every other day.

Oil your hair the night before, before shampoo, wring out hot towel and wrap it like a turban to open up the pores, use a good shampoo, comb out .

Use mousse or gel.Henna is also good for rough hair, provided mixed properly and then after rinsing it out,dry and oil at night.

Use a hair glaze or shine boosting glaze. Clairol makes one called Shine Happy, Revlon makes one, and so does John Frieda. They coat your hair and make it glossy and really soft. As for making it straight without a straightener, you'll need to blowdry it...heat is the only thing that makes hair straight, other than chemicals.

use a leave-in conditioner. the one from Garnier is good. u can also use a hair mask. u can also make it at home. use mayonnaise or eggs or curd on your hair once a week. oil your hair before shampooing.try turban therapy - wrap a towel dipped in hot water on your head after oiling it. this opens up the pores and helps in deeper penetration of the oil. hope this helps.
