Someone stepped over my crying toddler, she had fallen over and was crying in pain yet the cow stepped over her to get served before me.

Unfortunately there are tossers like that. Especially when it's your little one. I just don't know what gets into some people. My daughter aged 3 at the time) was dragged out of a baby swing by another kids mum because she wanted her adorable offspring to have a go. She was lucky the children were around...what's wrong with these people???

That is downright cruel and mean. A toddler, how precious that little life is, and the cow has a long time to live?

Well, 20 years from now your toddler will grow up to be a paramedic, or doctor or some notable, and that cow lady 400 lbs now) will be his patient, and you know how he'll recognize her? By that big black mole she had on her ankle. Ahh at it's finest.

Your Toddler: Ma'am where does it hurt?
Cow: Here.
Your Toddler: Can you jump to 3?

She was probably thinking you were a #$%! for not getting your child out of the way. Some people think only of themselves, and detest any child, much less one that is crying.
[Chuck up my luncheon].
I can top it. A mate was at a buffett with his elderly parents. In spite of more food coming out some old git actually knocked a very small child's hands away and in the process knocked him down to get a piece of rather dry looking chicken.
I have no children yet, but if someone did that to my child, or a mate's child, some old Git would be in trouble. I can't stand old people who think they ought to be worshipped because of their age. Feck them. The only reason they are still alive is God doesn't want them round either.
Arseoles.
I am sorry for your encounter. I hope you don't let this harm your feelings of Christmas happiness.

omigosh that's horrible! I hope that your lil girl is ok....hope that you said something to the man or lady too. It's amazing how nervy people are....

you wanted to hear about other yuck people...

I was at a store the other day and basically my 1.5 year old decided to start getting upset because she was tired. I was next in line and if I didn't purchase the stuff I was going to put it on hold so i figured that I should just buy the stuff and then get out of there...figured either way, it would take the same amount of time. Please note...my daughter wasn't crying, just getting whiney. So anyways, I was at the register and another cashier turned around and gave both my daughter and I dirty looks about 4-5 times and then proceeded to talk about me to her customers....then all of them kept staring at me and giving me dirty looks. I look very young for my age...28 and married but could pass for about 18....so I always get dirty looks and comments because people think that I am a teenager. Still not sure if the comments were because I look young or if it's because she was whiney. It's amazing what people will say to you and how nervy and rude they are....

I had gotten several comments throughout that day and I think that just blew it so i went home and called the store and spoke with the manager and got the employee written up. :)
have a nice holiday...

well... im an amputee, and many years ago we also had a german shepherd dog, who only had 3 legs and no tail... well if hes a good dog you dont want to eat him all in one go! (im joking, his mum bit his tail off and just like me, a car did for his leg...anyway... as im an upfront guy, during the summer i wear shorts, and my prothetic leg is uncovered..its just a kevlar and titanium pylon..)beautiful engineering, so why hide it...

we were both walking up the street..and this woman was staring so hard at me and my dog, she smashed her car into the back of the lorry which had just stopped...

some folks are just plain ignorant. and whilst i dont agree with the woman who stepped over your child, here in England, anyone interfering or touching a non related child is a a big no-no. mums get very protective of their kids, and other mums dont interfere... no one helps a distressed kid and expects a punch in the face, and to be arrested... and yes this happens. its part of the modern times in which we live, where everyone is fearful and the press whip up public mistrust for perfectly honest and innocent actions.

and of course, wherever you are, its christmas, ive seen little old ladies get into real fisticuffs over the last packet of sage and onion stuffing... its a stressful time for everyone... have some compassion.. you have no idea whats going on in her life...

you should have said something to her, there and then, and im sure she'd have either apologised or told you to keep your kid under control and shut the fork up. this is what its like where i live...

A man collapsed in the Post Office, I was sent to see to him as a First Aider, he was not breathing, I gave him the kiss of life and tried to keep him alive until the ambulance arrived, he was right by the doorway to the office, but people still came in around him and some even stopped to have a good look at him! He died!

That is awful! *****, I hope you said something.
My worst example is, my daughter 2 and half making a fuss in a shop because she wanted the kinder egg that i gave the shop assistant so i could pay, an old lady behind me said, 'oh, i say i would give her something to cry about, what an awful girl'
Miserable cow! She proberly throttled her children and buried them in the garden. I was disgusted in what she said, i would have gave her something to cry about, but two wrongs dont make a right so i walked away.

I live in a small town with a retirement village in it and you should see what some of those Yankees say and do here. They act like they are Jesus Christ and all the locals are just dumb scum. They even went to wal mart and Kroger's and demanded a separate check out for the people from the retirement village.

I'm not sure I can top your story. A few years ago the whole family went to Disney World for a vacation. Two sweet-as-pie women quite literally pushed my six year old nephew out of the way to get to a show. I assure you my sister and my mother let them have it. The two women had absolutely no clue what we were upset about.
