How can you judge a whole group of people by what a person does.

If theres something you should do is learning to judge people by their actions and not by stereotypes.

Every group, every race and every country have good people and bad people.

Lotta illegals are taking advantage of our country but many also wanna be part of it, many pay taxes, many know english and assimilate the culture.

Also many americans are good people and many are psychos that think immigrants gonna take their country.

You are right when you say you can't judge a specific group of people by the actions of a few. Some stero-types are basicly deserved though, when it's not just the actions of a few ....if one is honest enough to face the ugly side. Whether it be men vs women, rich vs poor, color vs color, or relegion vs relegion.

What I don't understand is why is there such an uproar when those that have committed crimes above and beyond being here illegally , is there an insistance that "their" people be exempt from the same rule of law we all have to obey and no punishment given? There are criminal "white" people and you sure aren't going to see me demanding that a child molester get set free coz he's such a good worker and had a hard life. If there's a "white" human smuggler I'm not going to be accusing the police of unfairly "targeting" them since they're just good guys that wanted to bring families together and make a living to feed his. It shames me that some are "white" people who are breaking the laws in order to obtain cheap labor for the almighty buck. But I want to see them brought to justice....not just let go to polish up their act and hopefully not get caught the next time. If it was my daughter who stole your childs SS# making it impossible for you to get help or if you were thrown in jail because she committed a crime and you're being blamed...beleive me...you wouldn't be saying...it's no big deal, let her go, her moms nuts and she's trying to get by. I can bet some latino lawyer would be beating your door down so you got every red cent she had and made sure she was is jail. You wouldn't care if she had babies at home or if she was a good worker and nice kid and went to church every Sunday. You wouldn't want to bring home your new baby and be trying to get it on a schedual while I'm pounding Black Sabbath tunes through the neighborhood at 3 am. I think you might even be offended if my husband flipped your grandma off while she was sitting on the porch minding her own business. I don't think you'd care that he got jumped and beat up by 3 hispanic men just for change and has a "reason" to dislike hispanics. I mean this "tension" isn't without reason and it seems to me there should be some facing up to the fact that ALL are not desireable people and should be punished and deported instead of demanding nothing be done and have it be left status quo. We have citizens sitting in jail for less than what is overlooked everyday by what illegals do. Are their "excuses" any less relevant? Their children and spouses any less important? Their trial and tribulations any less significant?

We had an illegal here just recently in the news. He served in the Navy, made money doing odd jobs and was caught to be deported. Learned English, father of 2 and I think here 15 years....no other crimes. But he reported to court and was willing to do whatever the judge said. He has an employer who will hire him but they have to post the job for a period of time and prove a citizen isn't being denied employment and a few other things to get himself on the legal path. I have more understanding and compassion for him for doing the right thing ,than I could ever have for Elvira held up in the church using her son as a pawn.

I do not hate just as you say one group, well I guess unless you call illegal immigrant a group. I don't know that I really hate illegal immigrants as much as I hate what they do. It will never be ok with me to break our laws, nor will it ever be ok with me to respect the country they came from and not the U S A.

Illegal immigrants did something bad.

They came here illegally.

They also use services like schools which are expensive and aren't theirs to use.

Poor people CAN'T pay enough tax to cover k-12 education for their families. That is why we limit how many poor can come. We take care of our own poor, but don't want our own children's education being ruined as it is now, to stretch our children's education funds over so many illegally here.

Its easy very easy to understand. You didn't invent understanding. Illegal Aliens are not immigrants, and I really wish people would "get that" . I wish that people would understand why the anti illegals are angry. Understanding is a two way street.

It's very easy to understand. I agree. Like I said not all Mexicnas are illegal. Some people on here just like to go on and on. I get sick of people always making an assumptions.

That is not the point in question. The fact is, and you said it yourself, they are illegal. If I break the law I go to jail. Why should we turn a blind eye to them
