You dial 011 (to dial out of the country) then the country code, Sweden is 46, then the phone #. IF the phone # starts with a zero (0), you usually drop it if you're calling from another country.

Actually, you should got to a local store or check cashing place and buy a calling card, they go up by 5 minutes to 5 dollors etc. they work!
