I would love to suprise my husband by buying him his all time fave dog but they are so hard to find. Any one know any breeders around lincoln area?

No the idea is to take him to a breeder then tell him why his there. I wouldnt pick the puppy.

There are very few Tibetan Mastiff breeders around & I doubt if they would be happy about selling a puppy as a "surprise" for anyone. Far better to suggest it to your husband & let him go & pick his own puppy - I would be really miffed if someone went & chose a puppy for me. Contact the Kennel Club for details of the breed club & they will be able to give you details.
They are a lovely breed, but definately not for everyone,

Here is a really good web site to find breeders, they also have a whole section on what to look for in a breeder. I don't think that you will be able to get one before x-mas. A good breeder will not breed until they have a waiting list of people that want puppies. Check out the web site though it has alot of great info and breeder links... Also they ship to alot of major city's for free.

try the kennel club website. They are a rare breed and not easy to find. They are not easy dogs to own either. I know a breeder but she has a waiting list of prospective owners and she vets them very carefully as they are powerful dogs with a strong prey drive and very very protective. Not really suitable for the average pet home.

Have you tried AKC.org? I think you can get a listing of breeders for the different breeds. Or try doing a search online.

sorry this is no help, but looked on some sites about them and the biggest can be about 15 stone and 31inches to the withers so if you get one good luck.they look lovely but huge !
