Say you have a little girl/boy (about 2 to 3 years old). You mention to your boyfriend/girlfriend that you want to spent time with them that night but also want to spend time with your kid that night to look at lights. How would you feel if your boyfriend/girlfriend suggested the three of you look at lights together?

It depends on how long u've been dating...if it's a short time, not such a good idea..on the other hand if it's been a while and he or she is an understanding person she/he will accept the idea gratefully.

That is awesome. I would feel like my girlfriend/boyfriend was trying to let me know they are ready to start including the child in some things. Or it could just be Christmas spirit.

I would think it's great that this person cares enough to want to spend time around my child in order to be with me.

i have a 4year old boy myself. i think it's a GREAT idea for all of you to spend time together and it would be a compromise between you two anyway. it's sweet that he wants to be around your child!

I think that this person is trying to be nice and they are interested in you. It sounds like they really respect you and like your child.

i would feel honored that he/she would want to do that considering that there are selfish people out there who would never offer such a thing.
