Honestly, age is just a number.. because i know a lot of people who don't act their age. If you love someone.. then it's unconditional and age, color, and what not does not matter.. all those who have their opinions about the situation can mind their own because it's UR LIFE and U have to LIVE it!

I find nothing wrong with a women dating a guy who is younger then her. One to two years yeah whatever that is nothing. My really good friend is dating a guy who is a year younger she is 19 and he is 18. Age is nothing more but a number. What I do have a problem with is if someone is like 18 and the other person is like 26 I wouldnt care if the person was 20 and the other person was 30 or 40. Just get your childhood done with first before going older then those things dont matter

I'm with a guy who's younger then me by almost 4 years. He's mature, loving & incredible. Nobody has a clue he’s younger then me too because he handles himself like he’s older.
When we fist started dating I had no idea of his age never occurred to me to ask. Then he had a birthday two weeks after we started dating & I went ‘OH CRAP!’ But things worked out in the end.
This is the first time I've ever dated anyone younger & our relationship is the best I've ever had. Strangly enough my mother married someone younger then her, & his mother did too.
He's attracted to older woman because we aren't so into playing games & 'drama'! There isn't anything wrong with dating younger men, just most of them haven't come close to maturing so you do it wisely unless you want a young guy immature guy then kudos to you!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, I think a lot of people see it weird because it's well known that girls mature 2 or 3 years before boys, so you would expect men to be 2 years less mature than women.
But if the guy is more mature than most of the guys his age, he should be fine, and if the girl is less mature it's fine too...
Women (most of them...) they don't like to babysitt, that's why they look for an older person who would at least be at the same level as they are...
But like I said in the beggining, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING WITH AN OLDER WOMAN.

Technically age is just a number, but because of laws and society, people have their own standards as to whats right and whats wrong. Many times we see things where its okay for a guy to do it but not a girl and vice versa
In all retrospect, age is just a number but if its a 30 male or female dating a 17 year old... well thats just plain grimey

Nothing wrong with it. It just presents a new set of problems, that's all.
Whenever you date someone outside of your age range (which I think is within about 4 years), you then have to deal with the issues associated with the other persons age range. Are they ready to settle down. Are they ready to make commitments, are they finished with their partying phase, are they ready for kids...etc.
I don't think there's anything wrong with it though. My husband is 25, I'm 30. He's more mature than most 25 year olds though.

it's not wrong, and don't let anyone tell you it is. they know nothing.
but yeah, i know where you're coming from with the older guy, younger girl setup sounding "dodgier", despite the other way round being generally accepted (by morons) as "wrong". i assume if someone collected statistics from every abusive heterosexual relationship reported in the past year, the vast majority of them would be older guys abusing younger girls. but that, too, means absolutely nothing.

Hello =)
There is nothing wrong with it whatsoever...
2 years is nothing....at any age.
4 years is only important if you're under 20
10 years is only important if you're under 25
after that, age is irrelevant.....
Anyone who says otherwise is shallow, and insensitive, and paying entirely too much attention to what other people think....
I married a woman who was 13 years older than I, at age 30. We had a very good relationship until she got sick and died (nothing to do with old age...LOL)
Age was never a factor.
Namaste,
--Tom

I don't know. It just bugs me when the guy is shorter than the gurl. If the guy is younger I don't care. He just can't be shorter.
