2 questions for Christians?

1- what is the bible's position on masturbation? I was taught there is nothing wrong with it, do you guys believe so?

2- is it a sin to THINK bad things, my father always told me "if it it bad, just say it in your head" Is it bad to think bad things

There is not much said about the topic of masterbation. There is one story that indirectly speaks to that. In the very early part of the Bible, if a man died before he had an heir, his closest male relative was required to lay with the man's wife, and have her conceive. A man named Onan hated his brother, so he performed Coitus interuptis (He came outside.) that man was killed for not fulfilling his sacred obligation.


In answer to the second part of you question, there is a lot said about your thought live. Basically there is the phrase that comes up again and again. "As a man thinks, so he acts" Be careful what you think.
