No, but the first time a mate had to change his newborn's diaper, he warned me. It was so bad that I got up to stick my head out the back door, twenty feet away, to get air.
When I opened the door my 11.5 year old lab mix ran dead on, top speed between my legs and out to the fresh air.
That kid once broke wind in a closed car. We stopped thinking dirty nappy. Before we could find a place to pull over, we had to roll the windows down.
So,I know where you are coming from. Worse: he has another one on his way.
It is beyond me why people WANT kids.
[I think I shall calmly go and chuck up my food just thinking about the odours!]
"That still childless Cheeky Lad"
P.S Christina, my mate's mum said she thinks men's brains are not wired to handle the stench, and yes, we would go outside in an ice storm before stinking up our houses. Why can't they take the babies to the loo. That would be a good compromise.
To ANGEL HUNT: Some of your observations are humourous to me, and certainly you make a good point, but my mates are good mates, and to me their child (soon to be children) are worth sacrifices. The lad has no one as close to him as I, no siblings--I am "Uncle Chuckie" to his little girl. She melts my heart, though I do adamantly refuse to change diapers.

I would not send someone outside to change a child's diaper. I would discreetly and politely ask the house guest to change the infant in another room (the bathroom or perhaps the room where they are staying). No need to get into a huge discussion with them about why. I'm sure that they will understand especially if they have been asked in a respectful and polite manner. Good luck!

No way! That is really rude. Don't invite them over if you are going to be so offended by a little smelly diaper. I do however, give them a bag to place the pamper in and tell them to throw it in the trash can outside. Have a blessed Christmas and a joyous New Year! God bless****

No, I send them to the bathroom and give them a plastic bag to dispose of the diaper in. Keeps all the crap in one place without sending them out into the cold where the baby could catch a chill.

that's totally harsh to deliver tiny little babies outdoors interior the midst of iciness. it style of feels to me that everybody is paranoid approximately hygiene presently. Do you think your individual mom replaced your diapers outdoors? once you're an previous individual with double incontinence do you think of it's going to be ok for the nurses to wheel you out onto the backyard to alter your incontinence pad? If everybody accompanied your suggestion the streets could be crammed with mothers wiping their babies' bottoms, which i'm specific you will agree is infrequently acceptable from a public well being perspective. you're very stupid individual and you will in all probability lose various acquaintances over this!

No, you let them change their child's diaper inside, not out in the barn where the animals are, and then you take the diaper outside to an outside trash can, then you get over yourself and get a real life. Are you sure you want the little creature in your super clean, and spotless, germ free house? I mean really, you're really taking a chance there. You must go #2 outside in your outhouse as well. You're a real winner. I hope you never have kids, I would feel sorry for your child.

Why is everyone getting so fired up about these questions? They are funny and after all, his opinion. Also...he's right - diapers spread diseases and the smell belongs OUTSIDE. Roy agrees; that funky smell, the kid in p00py diapers, and the parents belong outside! When the brat is potty trained, then you should "invade" someone's house (or restaurant). If in the restaurant, just keep the muzzle on it.

Um, no. They usually use one of the bedrooms if it's a party, or right on the floor if they're staying with us. I keep plastic bags in the drawer with my garbage cans that work for diapers.

And face reality you hate kids, you are a worry to the community.

You are sick in the head, by the way you can report me again, but someone has to tell you the truth.
