I'm 13 and my boyfriend is 14. Our first date is next Friday night, and he let me pick the place. But I've never been on a real date before, so I don't know where to pick??? So does anyone have any suggestions. I want it to be pretty casual, but at the same time special... does that make sense?! And also, what do I wear?! Dressy or casual?! This is soooo confusing!

Since your parents are going to be most likely driving you, try to find a place that has a restaurant and movie theater within walking distance. Dress casual...like you normally would for school, but a little nice.

That way, after dinner, you can just walk to the theater and catch a movie. I'm not sure if this is possible where you live, but I'm sure you can find a place similar. Don't worry about it, you have plenty of dates ahead of you. The ones you have right now are just for fun, hanging out type of dates. Nothing serious.

Have fun!

Go to the local cinema and see a movie.
That way, if you dont know what to say at any part of the date you can appear as if you are watching the movie.

I would do casual, but talk to him about it and be like..so casual on Friday, yeah?

good luck!

My suggestion - keep is casual, but try to go someplace nice, but not too expensive. A place like Applebee's or TGiF may be a good choice. The movies are a good date at your age, but may not have any particular special memories associated with it later.

GOOD LUCK

yall should go see a movie or something, so you would be able to wear your out clothes with a nice casual jacket over a fitted blouse. you shouldn't wear a dress cause that would be just wrong! don't be nervous, your still young, so have fun, and don't act like someone your not, be your self, trust me he'll like you. Oh yeah, and if he trys something you aren't comfortable with , tell him no! if any moe personal questions, just email me at forever_treasured@yahoo.com.

first of all chill...its not that huge. go to movie and get some pizza or something. its a typical first date formula. wear what ever you feel comfortable in and dont over dress. seeing a movie gives you something to talk about. and remember to relax he's probably nervous too.

the best place to go really, is to a movie, then go out for dinner.
Just FYI,
Don't eat like a slob, thats a turn off.!!
And sweetie, dont worrie if he doesn't make a move,
that shows loyalty if he doesn't try to come on to you on the first date!!
