she sent them to schools,provided them with basic needs,and sent them packages with goodies.her sister is financially dependent on her.they don't have enough to get by.my cousins' mom has abandoned her responsibilities,so my mom,who is very concern and loving person,has opted to help.but some of my cousins' did not finish college,and at one time they even tried to trick my mom financially.now,my mom is sending one cousin to nursing school.she is,so far,honest with her schooling and even got high grades.i don't mind my mom helping her,but until when is she going to do that?my mom's sisters,who are more financially stable,did not raise one finger to help them.my mom has given up so much for my relatives,has compromised her finances.we have told her numerous times to stop sending them money so she can start saving money for herself.i think it's about time my aunties should do their part.waht do you think?

there's a song in my country that says that you don't have the right to tell anyone what to do, even if they want you to. in my opinion you should let her decide wether to give her money away, or keep it for herself. after all. the whole point of this is for her to be happy. you can have a nice chat with her and tell her about the advantages and disatvantages of her giving her money away(after all... it is for a good cause) but whatever she chooses, support her in her decision. she is your mother and she will always love you

Well, it's good that your mom is a caring person. I doubt that your aunts will help your cousins out. I also doubt that your cousins who are helping her out will come to her rescue when she may need it. Be prepared for that. Your mom is a great person, you should be thankful for that.
