Here's one that they may not normally make but most bars have the ingredients. It's a Pineapple Upside Down Cake Martini. It's sort of strong but you won't taste the alcohol too much so be careful. It can sneak up on you. Here's the recipe.

1 1/2 shot pineapple rum (this is the one thing they may not have. You can substitute a couple shots of pineapple juice and a shot of light rum)
1 shot vanilla vodka
1/2 shot butterscotch schnapps
1/2 shot amaretto

Shake over ice and strain into a martini glass. If they don't have a martini glass serve it in a collins glass or, if you prefer, in a high-ball glass over ice.

Enjoy!

PS - after submitting this, I saw one suggestion for a cement mixer. I used to love these -- though it sounds kind of gross, it good and you should try it once. You're served a shot of Bailey's Irish Creme and a shot of Rosa's Lime. First shoot the Lime but don't swallow it, leave it in your mouth. Then shoot the Bailey's. The Bailey's will curdle a little making it thick (hence the cement mixer). I actually liked the taste and it's an interesting diversion. Give it a try at least once!

Try some of the trendy martinis that many places offer. The appletini is popular, but there are also mint martinis, and coffee martinis. I'm a vodka martini kinda guy myself, but if you like cosmos, these might be good alternatives.

Order a Red Death...it has seven shots in it, but be careful, the effects don't kick in until after you drink it all. Its a great get drunk quick drink.

Once you grow out of those sweet, sugary drinks, I recommend a clean whisk(e)y or even a good rum on the rocks. Maturing for me meant acquiring a taste for less sugary crap- and one for better, neater drinks.
