If she is yelping and trying to "take his head off" it might be just a couple of days too early into the heat. A lot of bitches wont let a male breed her until it is the right time. Give it a couple of days and let him try again- then see if she is more receptive. They are supposed to breed three times with a day inbetween each breeding.
It also could be too late into her heat, that could be another reason why she would not let him breed. But, if she seemed more receptive to him the following day, its probably still too early into her heat.

If you have bred this dog before and she did not take did you have the vet check her over to see if she has any internal problems? She could have some sort of anatomy issues that cause it to be painful to be bred.
Many females are receptive only up to a certain point and then try to kill the male. Many breeders muzzle the female and some go as far as putting her into something like stocks for large animals when they are breeding. Some have to be held to be bred.
If they are a very dominant female sometimes they will not accept the stud.
I would have your dog checked out very thoroughly by the vet and make sure she is fertile and has no internal problems.

Was she not checked by your vet before breeding. He should have suggested it when she was in for her brucellosis test. She should have been checked for constrictions or irregularities which make mating either impossible or very painful.
A lot of bitches scream and try to take the stud's head off at first, but, if they're at the correct stage of their season, they'll stand quietly.
Stop trying to breed this poor dog when something's obviously wrong.

well only a vet could answer that for sure, but maybe she just isnt comfortable...do you take her to the stud? the new surroundings may bother her, she may just not be in the mood :) Try bringing the stud to her....

Your dog is trying to tell you something. You obviously are NOT an experienced breeder, and therefore, have NO right to be breeding.
Let your dog be at peace and SPAY her!!!!

I would have her checked, if she was bred last time and didn't take she could have a tipped uterus and it could be that it is painful for her to be bred.
