Can someone say 'I love you' too much?
My girlfriend says it ALL the time. If we are on the phone for an hour, she'll average at least 10-15 times. I know this sounds bad, but can it be said too much? I kind of feel like she's wearing out the term! An I love you should exhilerate you, and how can that happen if it's said that many times? What are your thoughts?

Yes, you can say it too much. It's nice to hear the words(as long as they are truly meant) but too much of hearing it can be overkill. Let her know that you feel she's telling you "I love you" too much. Be careful though. Don't break her heart by saying it. Be careful how you say it.

well, i had a g/f that i said that she was too much in the i love you, and always grabbing at me (especially at the wrong time) at the wrong time. i never got any of that back. even though they say women and men come dime a dozen, you might want to be careful b/c if though it is love, it also could be infatuation as well. i would just let her know that you love hearing her say those three words, but at the same time, dont over use those words all at the same time. like someone else said to you, be careful what comes out of your mouth when you state it. girls that show you their ALL are very hard to come by, and just explain what you feel about her saying it all the time.

YES they can.My ex boyfriend would say it all the time, it got to a point where it really annoyed me when he said it.If you say it to much it just becomes words. As to what you could do to maybe slow it down i have no idea cause if she is anything like my ex she will be hurt or mad and think you "don't love her".
Maybe she says it that many times cause she doesn't know what else to say.You could try just getting off the phone if you run out of things to say

She may be saying "I love you" too much because she has nothing else to say at that moment. Just tell her that those three words sound special when they are not said too often; she should get the message.

If you really love someone too much you must say it to him or her, let your hart take over your brain and show him or her how you really feel about that person. Love is a really strong fours.
