NO, but please be careful when buying a husky...I have one that I got at the Humane Society where I worked and SOOOOO any of them are dropped off because the people get in over their heads! Huskys are smart dogs, not like labs or golden retrievers! They can also have a little bit of an agressive streak in them. Of course, that can be dealt with as long as you're willing to address the issure right away! My puppy used to try to bite and became rather vicious if you tried to take anything away from him. Hes 8 mo old now and we haven't had any problems, but we actually had to resort to using a muzzle on him because you couldn't even get close enough to grab his collar, he'd try to bite! We used a muzzle and then we'd lay on him! He had to learn that we were in charge! Just be prepared. He also has to get adequate exercise or he becomes the most distructive little monster you've ever seen! Good luck and make sure you do your research before bring ANY dog home!

I live in Alaska and have had many Siberians and other huskies.. I mush dogs and skijor by the way.. It seems cruel to me to own a Northern Breed dog in a tropical climate..It would be like a human walking around in a fur coat at 100 degrees all the time.. Just my 2 cents..
