reasonably good... in what way? so vague...

a library is a non-profit type of organization, so how would you make money off of it? if you open a catholic library then wouldn't you have to give the money to the catholic church rather than to "charity"??? a library would actually need funding rather than being able to give to charities.

i just don't get your rationale here...

Yes it is a very good idea, I did this myself quite a few years ago but I did not ask for any payment but I put a donation box there if people wanted to contribute towards the upkeep and I found them pretty generous, it is good to give people the chance to read proper Catholic material, so I say bless you and this idea.

Sounds nice. As long as you dont go censoring what books can be read and what books shall be burned, and as long as you dont require those checking out the books to pray prior to reading them, then it sounds noble enough....
