I have noticed that semi-auto weapons are being bought up and not resold. They are disappearing from the market.

Cheap? Dream on. Not much of a military weapon, but loads of fun and good history. If cheap, everybody'd have a couple. I have similar dreams about a model 92 Winchester, which was unpopular and cheap when I was a kid. Give up and buy a Ruger to plink with.

If you are looking for a genuine U.S.military issued one, they are collectors items now, and range from $650-over $1000. In decades past Plainfield and Universal made after market copies, and if you find one of these, they will probably still run you in the area of about $275- $350 in used coindition.

Of course you can't find one cheap. If you want one bad enough you'll pay the price they cost.
