Do you think it means something?

It even surprises the scientists.

I think it might mean that the big red dragon might have a copy cat of the virgin birth or Messiah.

I have just read about this in the Seattle Times. I don't believe it is a lie.

I think it means that life finds a way (see Jurassic Park: Michael Crichton).. relating it to Jesus is a stretch, as in the bible, it says that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary... this komodo dragon is capable of self-fertilization... btw, lots of species are.. what makes this interesting is that it's the first time we humans have figured out that the komodos were capable of it.

This happened before with a shark in an aquarium. Scientist have prooven that virgin birth is possiable but very rare. It is common in plants, however. It has never been recorded in a human offically. The bible is the only claim to a human virgin birth.

it's called parthenogenesis: it's a form of reproduction in which an unfertilized egg develops into a new individual, occurring commonly among insects and certain other arthropods.

Parthenogenesis is quite common among reptiles and amphibians. Remember, it was the motivating factor in Jurassic Park.
No, it is unlikely in the extreme to happen in an organism as complex as a human.

It doesn't surprise scientists. What scientist find interesting is that some reptiles have both the ability to fertilize their own eggs or to have another reptile fertilize their eggs and what are the environmental mechanisms that may trigger parthegenesis.
