There are various causes for that stomachache of yours. Where is the location? If it is at the upper right of the abdomen, it might be due to gallstones. Will need a medical consult. At the upper central part then more likely to be gastric pain. Taking warm milk or food or antacids will help. Pain in the lower right might be appendicitis and needs urgent medical attention. Pain in lower centre or at the navel can be due to non specific abdominal pain or constipation colic. Can try a hot water pack, massaging or rubbing it or taking laxatives. Another way i get rid of non specific abdominal pains ( I have them often too :( ) is to take a deep breath, feel your abdomen expands and hold it for a few seconds. You will find the pain reduced while holding ur breath. Let your breath off slowly over the next 2-3 seconds. Repeat for about 10 times. Last but not least, if all else fails and the pain is relieved with pressing my stomach, then I will wear a wide belt tightly. Not sure why but it seems to reduce the pain although logically it should make it worst. Maybe the tight feeling distracts you from the pain.

You can take a Pepcid and a Tums together and that should help. I learned that from a pharmacist who told me what to do when my dad was sick with cancer.
