Last Sunday, my wife and I had a turkey dinner with our grandchildren as they and their parents will be away for Christmas. Today we went shopping and decided to get a goose for our Christmas Dinner on Monday. We have never had a goose and there will be only the two of us. Now, at the moment frozen turkeys are dirt cheap, excellent fresh turkeys of about 12 pound weight come in at about £18. We eventually found a fresh goose and much to my horror, it was priced at £43. Although I could afford it, there is no way I would pay that price for a dinner. Instead we bought a pre-cooked Peking Duck all prepared with all the accompaniments. I am really looking forward to Christmas Dinner...................... Everyone, have a great Day and a Peaceful New Year.......... God bless.......

Where we are a small family and we have the large Thanksgiving dinner, my family said it was silly for me to do it again for Christmas. So, 4 years ago or so, we voted as a family and we have been having 'make it the way you want English muffin pizzas' We have 10 or so toppings available and you make your own. It is a real hit!

Either a Ham or Goose. Mashed Potatos, Stuffing, Various Veggies, Sweet Potatos. Cranburry Sauce, Apple and Cherry Pie, Baked Rolls, Salad.

And after that meat at Lunch (2:00ish), we have our other traditions, then for dinner we order pizza.

We order in Chinese food. We stay in our pj's all day, the kids play with their toys and we do not go anywhere or have anyone over on Christmas day. We odrer in and just chill. Ours is the most relaxed Christmas out of our families.
