I've seen it served in a round hollowed out bread before but I don't know the name of the bread.

I prefer sourdough bread (though it is what is used most commonly -- other bread types work too). If possible, I'll get at least one round of it, cut a hole the size of a small, plastic tub and put the dip in the tub. I then insert the tub into the hole I removed from the bread. Additionally, I'll cube another loaf or two. People can eat the cubed bread or tear from the bowl without the dip spilling out and it looks nice.

Ooh, sourdough is the best. I actually buy 2 rounds, one for the dip, and the other to cut into cubes or tear it up. I put the dip right into the hollowed out loaf. When people get hungry and the bread cubes are gone, they just rip off hunks of the bread bowl. Always a hit, no matter what dip you put in it.

I like the round French Bread loaf that you can hollow out in the center and put the dip in the hold. Save the hollowed out pieces, toast them. spray them with some spray butter and sprinkle them with spices (maybe garlic or italian spice blend) Serve the bread pieces with toothpicks as dippers.

Sourdough bread or crakers are my favs. If you go to a bakery or bread store they have all different types of breads avalible in different cuts, you can get the round bread and hollow it out your self. French bakeries or cafes usually have it. good luck.

You can buy any kind of loaf in the shape you want and hollow it out.

Some people serve spinach artichole dip with toasted pita chips, tortilla chips, even bagel chips.
