Me and my boyfriend are both religious (Christian) and we won't have sex before marriage and when we first started dating we committed to not breaking our "boundaries" (what is too far for us), but a year and three months later, we've gone quite a bit further (no sex). What is wrong and right?

The stuff you've done is just an expression of your commitment and your passion for one another. I think that just plain sex for the feeling good part of it is wrong because it's for the wrong reason. It's right to love someone and to express that, but if you've decided not to have sex and you don't have sex, then you shouldn't feel wrong.

There is no dead-set answer to that. It's like the verse saying something like "If your eye causes you to sin, pluck it." You know. Like if just making out causes you to sin, don't do it. Avoid the temptation. I had a boyfriend of 9 months and I'm Christian too. I didn't wanna have sex before marriage but we did. The reason we did is because we didn't avoid the temptation. Just be careful and if you are doing something and you feel you want to go further, stop yourself right there. I'm sure your boyfriend and any one you may be with in the future(no matter who it is) will respect you a lot more if you waited until marriage. Trust me. Hope this helps.

Recently, the inevitable trend has been that sex happens, whether marriage is a part of the equation or not...Sex is a part of the dating scene...like a norm...The days of Leave It To Beaver family values are long gone...and some would argue, just a myth...Welcome to the mentality of young single people...

As a christian, you will find the answer in the new testament. The bible tells us that fornication (sex without marriage) is a sin. Ask yourself. Would Jesus be okay with my behavior? God bless you.
