I am getting married next year with my delighful boyfriend and he proposed me with a beautiful letter. plus, hes crazy about getting married, he mentions it everyday!!! LOL!

My hubby proposed over the phone! We've been married 33 years and I still haven't forgiven him! Joking of course. No one stays married this long holding a grudge. I understand him. He was insecure and did not want me to see him cry if my answer was no.

I proposed to my fiance after a tough day at work and a 2.5 hour drive to her home. I was on my knees with no shirt on, unshaven and looking like a slob. But I needed to ask her at that moment and did. We both cried and laughed as it was so unromatic in reality but it was right so that is all that matters. Your profile says that your only in grade 10, perhaps you should complete your education before getting married. I am very happy for you and your fiance but would suggest that you hold off on walking down the aisle until you both finish your education and are settled into jobs. Don't laugh my son and daughter in law had the same type of love that you share with your boyfriend and they have now been married for 9 years, have 2 beautiful daughters (Papa's girls), a lovely house and are both working at great jobs. They did complete their education before marrying and are one of the happiest couples I see. Congrats and best of luck. Have a Merry Christmas and great New Year also.

Lol my hubby was drunk when he proposed. He had gone out with his brother, and didn't get home untill 5 in the morning. I was so pissed off, and he goes, will you marry me? I asked if he was joking, and he said "No way, man! I wanna get married!" I brought it up the next day, and he said something like "Sure". I was crushed. Then 2 weeks later, I was hanging out with my sisters and he came in, got down on one knee, and told me that I completed his life, and there is no other woman he'd rather have yell at him when he's drunk, and how there is no one else that he wants to start a family with, and asked me to honor him and make him a man by becoming his wife. He made me and my 3 sisters cry! I think it was great, because it was perfectly Mike.

This is my second time being engaged. My first time, he asked me at a new years patry right after the ball dropped in front of all of our friends. it was sweet. Well this time he never really proposed and he still hasn't gotten my ring. We already have our date set and we're planning (see my wedding question). When he does (and he will) I hope it will be something sweet. I've always liked the puppy with the ring around his neck trick. That would be cute

My Fiance is a musician who is on tour quite often. It was a Thursday afternoon, I was supposed to pick him up at the airport the following Sunday. I got a call in my office (I am a teacher) to come up to the office for a delivery. There sat my now Fiance & his 4 year old son. I was shocked. His son gave me a bouquet of beautiful flowers & I thought that was the end of my surprise. We went outside & hugged & kissed & then walked around outside the building. When we got to the back entrance he gave his son a little "look" & his son took the ring out of his pocket & asked "Will you marry my Daddy" My now Fiance then got down on one knee & asked me to marry him. It was the GREATEST surprise ever!

I'm already married but I wish my husband (then-boyfriend) had proposed to me in a vineyard or a rose garden. My proposal was so lame. He proposed to me in the parking lot of the mall and to make it worse I knew that he was going to do it. I saw him as he tried to duck into the jewelry store unnoticed to buy the ring. LAME!!!!!!!!!!!

i could recommend to a girl on the Island of Turk. There could be a sunset on the coastline with the white sand gleaming. The wind blowing ever so gently. With no longer something yet innocence in our way i could take her hand and ask her to be my superb pal for eternity and could she make the two one human beings into one. Take one knee and ask if she could marry me.

I do not care when, where, how, who is there or not there, what he is wearing, what I am wearing, if there is music playing or not, if is it day or night, winter, spring, summer or fall. I just wish he'd ask me already!!
