I'm using regulat sized, plain M&M's not the mini or the peanut type.

start with 1 cup, and if it doesn't look like enough for you and a little bit more at a time. Sounds yummy!

2 cups sounds like it would be a good amount. If you would llike an extra amount of M & M's, try 2 1/2 or 3 cups.

with something like rice crispies, you can add as much or as little as you like,. If you want loads of m&m's add loads in the cake. Or, you can add them on top of the cake after if is done and gently press them into the cake so it sticks. You can also put a chocolate bar on the top and melt the chocolate melt over the top. mmmmmmm..

can i come over for some when it is ready???..pretty pleaseeeeeeeeeee

Though you can do it to your prefrence I would think 2 cups or like one normal size bag of M&Ms but you can never have too many M&Ms.
