Think again! God has not betrayed us. We have betrayed God. As a nation, we have broken every commandment in the Bible by living as we please and running after money, sex and every thing that sounds or feels good. Our nation has become so political self-righteous that it allows anything to be acceptable. Thanks to the abuse and misuse of the FREEDOM of SPEECH, there is no right or wrong any more and if you or I say there is, we are judging. Isn't it scarry where this is going to take us if we dont repent and turn back to God's principle and commandments? No, God has not betrayed us nor turned His back on us. remember He said that a time would come when man (human race) would despise to hear the truth. That day is here, isnt it? But He also said that He would NEVER LEAVER or FORSAKE US, because He is a loving and compassionate God who changes not. And I believe there are a "faithful few" who refues to dance to the tune of, "IT'S YOUR THANG DO WHAT YOU WANNA DO!' Knowing GOD is not popular and truly living for God sure isnt popular. People will avoid you like you have a contagious disease! Why Because people love darkness much more than Light. See, when a Christian walks into a room of unsaed people- Light exposes darkness(sin). Not only does Light exposes the darkness, but it overpowers it. That's why people will shun being around you. All you're seeing is the Bible being fulfilled before His coming. He said when you see these things, REJOICE-dont be discouraged. Just keep living for Him any way and dont compromise your faith for nobody!

No, God has not betrayed us. Why? If He had, that would make Him a liar and we know...God does not lie.
Yes, we are created to worship Him...((How cool is that!!!)) You know, we are all wired to worship and we do. Have you ever been to a concert (Rock, Country, R&B, Rap, Jazz...or Christian) where there are people with their hands raised or lighters lite? That's worship.
Either we worship the living God or we worship something else. Follow the trail of where your spend your time and money and you will find your alter. What is on your alter? Is it the living God? Or perhaps...money, TV, video games, career, lust, possessions such as houses, cars, boats, etc...
You may not see the signs of His existence in your life...I see them all over my life. He reveals Himself to me by whispering into my heart, when I'm reading His Word, during prayer, praise (www.klove.com) and worship, in the beauty of the sunrise or sunset, the way a baby laughs or the way a man and woman fall in love.
Nothing is beyond God's control. He's the only one in control, don't you know that?
So, no...He's not turned His back on us...it is us that have turn our backs on Him. He's always there to take us back. He loves us unconditionally when we are walking in His will. He even loves us when we are still sinners. That's why He sent His Son, Jesus.
If there are 100 steps between you and God...He will take 99 of them, it's up to you to take the last one. He gives you free will and choice.
What path will you take? Choose wisely, it's a matter of life and death.
May you find the truth, peace, joy and love of our Lord this Christmas!
~Merry Christmas!!!~

Not sure why it would seem that he has abandoned or turned his back on you. You wake up every morning don't you? He gives you breath. Look at the next beautiful sunset, God is still in control and I can't imagine what life would look like if he weren't. We would certainly make a huge mess of things. Faith is believing WITHOUT seeing. He is very real!!

What you fail to realize is that God knew how this earth was going to turn out. He knew what people were going to do. He is still in control. People's right to exercise free will is what gets them into trouble. Just because it is an option and you can choose to do it, does not mean you should.
In essence, WE are failing Him when we allow people to question His existence by using the very talents He blessed them with to serve Him.

Nothing is out of God's control. Jesus promised to come back one day. There's a really awesome book, which is in fact written by a former athiest, it's called, "Scientific Approach to Christianity."
I highly suggest you reading it!

Yeah he would probably be pretty disappointed in us after all he did in theory spend at least 4 billion years creating all of this only to have it almost all systematically destroyed for profit. We have only been here for a fraction of the time and we have already destroyed hundreds of millions of years worth of his so called creation Wouldn't you be pissed if someone romped out your sand castle right in front of you
But I guess their would have to be a god in order for god to turn his back on us

God is Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient. God is always with us. He has given us free will. Any separation from God is the choice we as individuals make. God has promised never to leave us or forsake us. If it seems so to you , you could pray and find your way back by getting more understanding from God's Word.

No, we have grown beyond our OWN control. He hasnt turned our backs on us, although most of have on Him. He doesnt need to give us a "sign" other than His word. His word is law. And we must have faith and believe blindly and with all our heart in Him. âºâ»â¥

Most people believe that God gave us the freedom to choose, to make our own decisions. We suffer the consequences of our choices and decisions, whether they be good or bad. If you believe in God, he exists!
