work out- both cardio and sit ups. Do not try drastic diets, just stick to a healthy diet that will trim the fat gradually, and work out. 30 minutes of intense cardio and a bit of weight training is more than enough, but if you prefer lighter work outs, that will do the trick too. Walk, dance, swim, whatever you fancy.
Try pilates- you can do it at home, it's great for your abs, and for your posture, which makes your tummy flatter.
Avoid carbonated drinks and beans- it'll decrease the bloating if you have any.
Also, just try to always sit and stand straight- it's like instant weight loss.

If it's a little "pooch" just below your navel, this is normal and the size varies from woman to woman. I've known women who are rail skinny and still have this. Some guys find it very attractive, by the way.

If it's more like a roll, that is something that can be worked on to a degree. Most abdominal workouts will help... crunches will help strengthen and tighten the muscles, but you'll also have to adjust your diet to take care of the surface of fat on top of that.

Remember: women have a genetically higher level of body fat than men. This is something that can't and shouldn't be changed. Be careful about your expectations.

The hardest part of dieting is the second half. Once you lose the weight you have to keep dieting. That little part will go away eventually.

I have just come to grips myself that dieting is something I will have to do for the rest of my life. Not only for appearance but for health as well.

Try the "8 minute abs" routine. It can be bought on TV or downloaded. It works wonders. I have endo. and I can even do it with very little pain...so its not bad...but BOY does it get results...
