This is serious! And whoever owns the sheep may come looking.
Like how did dogs get to the sheep? Have they killed, injured someone's sheep?

Normally, well fed dogs will not go after livestock. The fact they have done this should be your biggest concern here. No they wouldn't get rabies but should have had their shots.

Once dogs attack, kill and maybe eat another living animal it can be a very bad sign. This is not normal. Did not really give us enough info on your dogs!!! Has this happened before? Normally aggressive to other animals?? Allowed to run loose? Where are sheep in relation to your property? If this is a neighbor you are bound to go and inquire of situation. And you need to know if dogs have actually killed or injured.

Dogs act in packs. But for dogs to suddenly go and do this signals a big red flag, safety concerns. It is possible they found a killed sheep and just messed with it which would be normal, the smell and curiousity of a dead animal. You need to find out just what happened.

You also need to involve your vet as not sure of what they could contract from eating on a sheep.

I highly doubt that the sheep had rabies, so that's a big ''no'' to if they can get rabies. They cannot die from having blood on them, either.

Why do they have sheep blood all over there face, did they kill one of your sheep or somebody elses? Well they could very well get a disease or something, i would get thechecked out. put i dont think that sheep would have raabies, and if you have kept them up to date on there shots then there is nothing to worry about.
