As most have said, yes, only two holidays are practiced by Sunni Muslims. Both called Eid (Celebrations). One is at the end of Ramadan, one is at the end of Hajj (the pilgrimage to Mecca occurring at a certain time each year).

Birthdays of prophets, Muhammad, or anyone else are technically bida (innovation in religion) and are not practiced by Sunni Muslims. The Shia however have a host of holidays based on various men and their actions. Sunni's make up more than 80% of all Muslims.

Roshni.......we are not supposed to celebrate the birth of Muhammad (PBUH) you are mistaken.

We have two Eid celebrations one after the month of Ramadan and one after the time of Hajj. We do not celebrate Muhammad's birthday as he told us not too.
