Not sure I understand your question..., but you should want your children because you love them unconditionally and because they are yours, they only have one father and one mother, no one can change that fact.

I myself feel , it's because she is a part of me . I have a 13 year old daughter going on 22 she thinks, she has managed to get suspended 4 times from school since Sept, and I usually get at least one call a week from the Vice Principal. Right now I'm so angry with her ,she got suspended on12/15/06 for calling teacher a vulgar name. The problem is she shows no remorse or fear of her consequences ,. Yet ,I would still go the extra mile ,defend , protect her even if she IS WRONG. She Is my daughter and No matter what i will always protect her. The love a mother feels for her child is like no other . It's so unbelievably strong ,it scares me . I honestly don't know what I would do if anything happened to her . I feel it would be like a piece of me died . Not sure if this answered your question ,I hope it helps some what though.

Well for one, if our schools do their jobs right and parents as well we will have well rounded emotionally stable young adults ready to fill in and take over when we are to old to do the job no more. I reflect back on my dear departed mother who asked if when I was grown up would I want my children to be productive adults or to be big goofs like I was headed. She kept me on the straight and narrow and when I needed it gave me a swift kick in the seat of my pants. Back in those days if you got a spanking at school you wished God didn't make phones cause when mom found out about it you would think that school spankings were like ice cream because at home you got worse. It didn't take much for us to learn what was right and wrong and I assure you I turned out just fine. I own a business and have been in Ministry for nearly 20 years. Our schools teach foundations of growth and parents teach the rest if we are doing our jobs.

Because school is training for real life, they learn what they need, and HOW to survive in real life.
