A coworker used a gift our team gave him in the white elephant gift exchanged this Christmas. Tacky? yes! Angry? naw.. just realized some people aren't worth giving gifts to.

Now if they gave me something on my "do not give list" I'd be a little more disgusted in the person, not angry. Sooo.. I would just shrug it off and regift the item!

That would signal to me that it is time to stop the Christmas Gift exchange at work. This is not what gift giving is meant to be, and it should have stopped as soon as you had to have a "Do not want list " You can choose some other form of celebration such as a Christmas Lunch where everyone brings a dish. Or going out together to a Restaurant for Lunch . What is the gift you are giving to Jesus, this year? should be the question to the person that gave you such a gift. Forgive and have a Merry Christmas

nah, no sense in being bitter...just beat her at her own game. IN front of everyone, tell her that she must have really enjoyed the gift you gaver her last year in order for her to buy you the exact same thing. And if she purposely got you a gift off of the "do not want" list, then make a joke about getting her reading glasses for next year so she gets the list right. Either way, she comes off as foolish and you expose her immature behavior to co-workers.

i'm no longer precisely specific what a MVP is, even with the undeniable fact that it does not sound like something that could desire to harass. possibly he did no longer get the textual content or if he did, he replaced into annoyed at you over something else, so it relatively is why he did no longer respond. possibly he observed you digital mail somebody else and have been given jealous working example. some adult adult males study too lots into issues like this, whilst there may well be no longer something going on. except you have been easily with yet another guy some way in that factor?

Life is too short to get angry or upset over something this trivial. You've got a funny Christmas story now, that's better than any stupid co-worker gift. Enjoy the ridiculousness and have a happy holiday.

Yes, I would be upset, but I also think I would try to think about her gift to me as a mistake. Maybe she just forgot I gave her the same thing last year, maybe she got the "do want and do not want" lists mixed up. It could happen to anyone!

well, I would probably say I would get angry/annoyed if a woman at work gave me a christmas present and it was the same one I gave her last year because that just tells me that she didn't like it. Hope this answer helps!

Nah. Christmas is about presence, not presents, and certainly not work presents! I'd chuckle to myself about what a dolt she is and re-gift it to somebody else.

I agree with Kimberly, the chick at work was very rude, inconsiderate, mean, and hurtful.
