If god forbid you had to chose between having an arm cut off or a leg which would you chose and why?

And you have to chose one. I'd chose a leg and get a prosthesis.

I'd choose a leg as well as I could still drive a car if I had only one leg.
I could always get a prothesis or use a wheelchair to get around the house.

I would ask for a new surgeon, what kind of nut job would ask? I'm sorry you have gangrene in you leg, but we could amputate your arm and see if that helps.
Of course if this were like a horror movie type situation were the psycho doing the cutting actually stops and asks I suppose I would do the classic spit in his face routine

So, do we want a slight loss in mobility, or communications.

It would depend on the type of person you are. If communication is very important to you, then you'd keep the arm. If travel, mobility, mountain climbing, was more important....then letting the arm go would be more appealing.

I would have to say an arm. I love to dance too much to give up my leg. I need my arms a lot too, but I guess I could get a fake one. That's a hard question! It gets you thinking! Merry Chrismas!

I would choose the leg. I can't image not being able to touch. Having your arm and hands is a big deal..

you know at first i would have said arm, but now i think
it would be leg....there are some TERRIFIC artifical
leg stuff out there you almost wouldnt miss a leg... :)

an arm, i like walking and i can still get a lot done with one arm :)
