My cat is getting some new toys, and cat treats, for Christmas. She has no clue, as her stocking is hung out of her reach.

I think Christmas mostly stinks. I have to put up with some of the most ridiculous, narrow-minded, right-wing people on the planet. My family just reeks of avarice and one-upmanship. I will do anything I can to have a good time on that day, and that generally means staying home in protest. I always get a little something for my furry friends. They accept the smallest things with such grace and appreciation, and I don't have to listen to any religious proselytizing! It's more fun to watch my rat unwrap a little morsel and the cats bat the paper around than hear my brother pontificate about his new rifle. Go ahead and give them something. It makes you feel happy.

No! You should definitely get presents for your pets - they're part of the family too. We give our cat something (like ham), wrapped in the same paper as everyone else's presents, they love pulling the paper off.

The cats don't really care that it's Christmas, but if their delight and getting attention and treats makes *you* happy, then by all means do!

Just make sure there are no small ribbons or tinsel for them to swallow. Wadded-up Christmas paper is a wonderful treat for cats, and you can put a jingle-bell on top instead of a bow.

It's fun to give pets wrapped gifts. My cat likes the wrapping and ribbon sometimes more than her present though.

Not at all my mom puts up Christmas stocking for all four of are cats there names are Tiger Lancelot Taz and Panda Bear. She buys them Christmas presents to such as new toys and cat nip. Sometimes she even labels my presents with the cats names on it like they got it for me. They get to eat with us to. So no it's not silly. There part of the family.

My 2 cats have the two toys or blankets/beds. This year, they have had their modern early (final week). it quite is a cat-scratching positioned up with a platform element on the actual, and quite a few different toys putting from it. The little ingrates have not even appeared at it (they want the two previous scratching posts they have nonetheless have been given)

No, that's not silly at all! Cats are part of the family and like our children. I have always gotten gifts and wrapped them for my kitty's.

No not silly but awesome! Cats love presents, and not just the empty boxes from YOUR presents; although they will love those almost as much! Crinkly balls, toy mice, and catnip for my furry freaks: Kit Carson & Rodney.

No is not, is perfectly normal, it just shows your devotion and care for your cats. We all give presents to the ones we love, so your cats shouldn't be an exception.
