Help what to do without being childish like the other party?

Okay, here goes about 3 weeks ago me and my old man told his mother not to attend our sons b-day party because she was very disrespectful to my son. sayin he was ugly and not my old mans son..... Now, I can not take my son to his grandfather (they are divored now) so he can see him because she is dropping the two younger kids off.... I have to sneak around to let them see him because she says she doesn;t want her kids around my son who is 1.... I am tired of the childish games she plays and I know if I speak with her she will just drag everything out and turn it around to make other people look bad..... So how can I fix this childish person and get my life back to normal without having her call the cops which she is good at??? any help will be appreciated ty

Just show how much more mature you are then her by not sneaking around, not playing games, and showing (not telling) her that you accept that fact that she is childish and cannot act like a grown woman. Be in charge of your life and your children's - this will show her that you can do what you want when you want with your kids. It will also show that you are not afraid of her. If she says anything rude or upsetting, talk to her as if you are talking to a child - patient and slowly, to make sure that she understands. Hold your head high and smile and nod. Main thing here - be in charge.

you certainly are in a tight spot and you need to live your own life and your son needs to be associated with much more positive aspects in his life. have you thought of taking him to the Y with you? check your newspaper for activities for youngsters. try going to a church where you can learn about God and meet some wonderful people. build up your own life. these are just a few ideas. if you have a really good friend, maybe you can speak with her. i hope these ideas won't hurt you too much. i know you care about your own family members but, this way you get your own life in order which will help you in one way or another.

you need to just drop all the runing around you are doing for these other people the ones that actually want to see your son and dont think that he is ugly should come to your house to see him if not then cut all ties. this is not being childish she has put you in this position and their is no reason for you to back down.
