Because for some reason people attach a strong emotion to this biological event that any moron can experience. The actual process, ie. blood, afterbirth, is obviously disgusting. It's about like asking a young mother of three, "What purpose does it serve to have children?". It's basically because they are cute and cuddly as infants, or because the person needs to feel loved or not alone. The entire population problem could be fixed if people would just wait until they are financially stable and mature enought to have a child, but instead far too many people just keep on shootin' em' out. Ridiculous and selfish, if you ask me. Ridicule me if you like, but just wait until you can give a kid a good life before deciding to have one. Please.

I think a lot of people have problems with paradox. The act of giving birth has a lot of "disgusting" aspects, pain, leaking amniotic fluid, involuntary defecation and urination, bleeding etc. But the act of bringing a new life to the world, a life that is part of yourself is one of the most intense and beautiful experience a person can have. It is a metaphor for life, beauty, ugliness, pain and joy cannot be pulled apart.

I'm not sure what planet you are from, but you are the first person I have EVER heard say that birth was disgusting! Yes there is a lot of blood, gore, and that stuff, but the idea a woman can bring a new life into the world is beautiful! Life itself is beautiful!

Have wondered about this for years have witnessed an actual birth and it is horrifying!! There is not one thing beautiful bout this I think women are brainwashed to believe crap like this so they can punish men by making them witness the miracle of childbirth
but really the end result is worth it. I would recommend a c-section I had one and my ex thoroughly enjoyed watching me be cut open was he sick or what?

Suggest that if you find it disgusting, you shouldn't have gotten her pregnant. Time to grow up and realize that we all arrive in the same way, birth. Most people find it very beautiful and exciting, a memorable experience, and those are the ones that should have children.

i've got witnessed it two times and that i could say it substitute into neither alluring or disgusting. alluring is a greater suited word. the 1st delivery took see you later my spouse substitute into pushing for 2 hours and that i substitute into greater worried approximately her and the toddler's wellbeing and the discomfort she substitute into in to locate it alluring. the 2d happened so quickly the toddler substitute into out previously the surgeon substitute into interior the room. I mean bam, on the spot toddler. So I lower back substitute into no longer waiting to totally take in what substitute into happening. yet between the two reviews i could say it substitute into closer to alluring then disgusting. What occurs is existence happening in front of your eyes. Wonderment would be yet in a distinctive way of describing how I felt.

Seeing as you are the one who doesnt have to do the deed, you arent really in any position to object, how men can complain is beyond me, not that ive had kids, but ive heard it is extremely painfully excruciating!! maybe before you say its completely disgusting, just think you helped to make the child, so i dont know what YOU have to complain about, just chill...

Why is it disgusting?
I was at my son's birth....stayed with my wife for the whole duration, didn't sleep for 36 hours and it was a fantastic experience.
Wouldn't have missed it!

One could just as easily face the fact that
