that is very lame actually, you should just be a little more upfront.

Don't worry about it, you're only 13, you're not expected to be Miss Pre-Teen Suave or anything. LOL At least you didn't pass a note in class or anything with the whole "Do you like Me?" question and then have the boxes underneath with Yes, No or Maybe. If he doesn't respond to what you sent him, then the next time you see him, ask him if he wants to go have lunch sometime together, or go to a movie with friends, or ask him for his number so you guys can talk and get to know each other more. You never know he may end up asking you out if you show him that your interested.
Right now though I think he might be a little bit confused as to whether you actually like him or not, just from the way you worded what you sent over to him on MYSpace.

I think you showed your were interested in him. However, men have a hard time comprehending or reading between the lines especially at 13. So he may have thought you were asking him what he thought about Fabrice buggin you.
I don't think you were being corny. It sounds like you are trying to find a way to express yourself to someone you have a crush on without sounding lame. That is hard to do at 13 because boys are just starting understand attraction to girls and girls have no idea how to tell boys they like them. It all so new and uncomfortable yet exciting at times.
He will more than likely not think you were asking him out but merely stating that someone thinks you two should go out.
If you want to go out with him you will have to ask him in your own words, straight out and no reading between the lines. Otherwise he will not get it.

LOL! middle-schoolers are funny :) no offense, i was just as silly when i was in middle school!
ummm, you shouldn't have involved your friend Fabrice so much. You're sending him a mixed message because now he doesn't know if you actually like him, or if it's only Fabrice who thinks you should be a couple. Be more straightforward! The less confused he is, the more likely that he'll like you!

Hun I think you did just fine! Ignore those people on here who call you names, they obviously forget what it was like when they were 13. When he gets back from Chicago, send him another message, but be more direct and don't include your Friend in it. Make it about you and him. For instance- I think we would make a cute couple, what do you think? Leave Fabreeze or what ever her name is out of it.

For being 13...and half...*thinks* i don't remember what i was like then...but it doesn't sound like you're asking him out. You just wants to know what he thinks about people thinking you'd be a cute couple.
If you want to go out with him...just ask him...the worst thing that could happen is he could say no.

Its good to be honest! I think you will learn something from whatever happens. If I was your age and I liked you I would be flattered and respond with YES, lets go out.
Please, if he doesn't say that, you don't have to ignore him, but don't wait around for him to like you! And don't think you have to change yourself to get him to like you. There will definitely be someone who will like you just the way you are.
Guys (especially 13 year olds) don't do well with conflict, however, they are the "Yes or No" type. Meaning, he either likes you or he doesn't. If he gives you a lame answer like "I think thats great and I want to become friends with you first," he just can't tell the truth! Its not his fault, but it means he doesn't like you. If he doesn't respond, he doesn't like you. However, if he gets excited and says Yes, I want to be your BF, then yes, he wants to be your boyfriend!
Will you let me know what happens? Thanks.

instead of transferring the blame on to your friend you should have just been straight forward and told him something like "here's the deal, i really like you and I think we would be a cute couple, do you want to try being friends and see where it goes from there?" something like that would show him that you not only like him, but you aren't too afraid to tell him by placing blame on your friend.
