i got a ticket for a parking violation but its one of those tickets where the ticket is a envelope. I dont know wether to send it or to go to some place and pay it? I got it at ontario, CA in the Onatario Mills mall.

If its just one ticket you have, you can probably ignore it.
I have one on the books from the 1990s and I still have not paid it in Austin Texas. Just don't get any more. - or you could google the city hall address and mail it. - if you are going to the trouble to do that, be sure and get a return receipt - make some one prove it was delivered.

Call the municipality where you got the ticket. They will be able to guide you as to where to send payment. Also, it may not be a good idea to ignore it, nowadays many cities, counties, will suspend your drivers license for failure to pay.

If it's a non-moving violation, stiff 'em.
It won't affect your license.
You CAN get booted if you accumulate a bunch of them
