Freezing apples will make them mushy. Then you'll have a tasty candy/chocolate coating around a sphere of mushy applesauce.

You can freeze the candy/chocolate, but the apple will not turn out good when it's thawed out. it will be all mushy.

Candy can, but not choc-covered apples. The fresh apple inside will be weird upon thawing....

they dont really freeze well as the apples tend to become mushy
