My significant other used to (and probably still does) join those sites among others, along with chat rooms. I always got the feeling that this person was hiding something from me (you can almost always trust your gut feelings). One day I browsed around on this person's computer web history and saw a lot of links that went to images/pages/profiles/websites that one would think only a SINGLE person would go to, not a person that is in a so-called committed relationship. I knew this person's messenger password, logged on...was able to read this person's archived IM's. And let me tell you, what I read was not very pleasing. A lot of sexual references and even them planning to meet up.

Of course my case was an isolated event and I'm not saying that your gf is doing the same thing. But i know these things can be an addiction problem. Talk to her about it. That's the best advice i can give. Good luck!

I belong to several community sites myself and I'm not a pervert. My best friend (a female) started me on them and my girlfriend is a member of them. None of us have been sexually harrassed. It's all about denying the requests from people you don't actually know. Beyond that, it's a great way to reunite with high school chums and keep up with all your friends in one place.

i was and still am shy. it's tough. you have to say screw it and just push down that shy feeling. rejection is the worst. i fear it as well. a lot of guys do. but it's going to happen. just take it as it comes. i used to postpone and realize now that was so stupid. take the chance. you have to look at it like if you don't take the risk, you will never know and remain lonely. i professed my feelings for a good friend of mine and was nicely rejected. it killed me. but i had to try. don't join the get laid sites. you don't know what you're getting. try one of the legitimate match websites. be patient. they say it happens when you least expect it for a reason.

Tell her that you worry about her and care about her.
She apparently feels she can handle herself. Subtly, tell her how good she is at this or that and encourage her in that way instead of just telling her to stop internet chatting. Put her time to creativity with software programs and ask her to send them to you. Ask her to make things for you from them. Be supportive and encouraging and maybe she'll slowly realize that's more fun time spent. :) happy holidays

Then let her do it. Let her decide for herself...if it becomes too much of an issue, she'll quit. The only reason you should be concerned is if she is in actual physical danger or you fear she's cheating or attemtping to cheat.

You should understand, she is looking to replace you. She obviously likes the pervert attention. You can't win this fight. Some chicks just love the attention, good or perv.

If she doesn't feel hurt or anything by perverts talking to her, then it shouldn't be a problem. Tell her that she shouldn't give out any of her info (phone number, address, etc) and that that's how perverts rape.

You should mind your own business.

The term "my girlfriend" does not mean she actually belongs to you, it is just a phrase.

So all you can do is give her advise and if she doesn't want it then STFU

my girl use to do this also & i told asked her why does she like goin on here lookin for friends when she supposedly has everything in me like she says. i she loves you then she'll respect your wishes. there's no need to be out in these sites if you're serious with someone already

She's looking for attention and receiving it albeit negative. Are you paying enough attention to her...she's seeking some kind of fulfillment and you may not be doing it for her
