Noah was the father of Ham, Shem and Japeth. Ham was the youngest and married Egyptus of the lineage of Cain. He was also guilty of seeing Noah naked in his tent when he was drunk. Shem and Japeth went backwards with a blanked to cover their father.
It is generally considered that Ham is the father of the African peoples, Japeth is father of the Oriental peoples and Shem is the father of the Caucasian peoples. Those are the three great divisions of people on the earth. Of course a lot of intermixing has gone on since then. Thus, from Noah have descended all the people of the earth with his three sons representing the three great division of today.
