Everyone sends me quotes from the bible that are completely senseless. Shouldn't these people be locked up?

What do you mean "locked up", dont you think you're overreacting a little bit? Besides, the bible has so many beautiful quotes, not necessarilly religious. Check this one out:
"Love is patient, love is kind,
Love does not insist on its own way.
Love bears all things, believes all things,
Hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails."

Beautiful, isnt it?? Do you really believe those words were senseless?? If you do, analyze yourself

Sure it's POSSIBLE to get a non-religious answer.. ask an atheist a question ;)
If you don't want biblical quotes, good luck in an R&S section of Y/A. Even if you ask a question to atheists, pantheists, etc.. you'll still have christians quoting the bible.

If you're not looking for a religious answer, it's probably not wise to post questions on a religion forum.
But I do have to agree... the people that send me personal messages full of biblical verses are pretty funny.

The only answer you want is one that supports your ideas. The reason Biblical answers are senseless to you is that God has not chosen through the Holy Spirit for you to understand. He has chosen not to reveal things to you. Maybe He knows your heart and chooses not to waist His time.

1st Q, yes it is possible, provided you are anywhere else. In R&S you should expect it, like it or not.
2nd Q, Locked up? sorry, bud, will never happen. I would hope that someday the bible quotes will begin to make sense to you.

I don't think they should be locked up, but I think one of the things that turns people off to religion is having it force fed to them by overly zealous Christians. It seems judgemental and gives you the impression that the person sending it thinks they are better than you. Nobody should tell others how to live their lives.

Well, this is the religion category. What is it you were expecting? You want to talk about religion without using religious references, I see. That makes great sense.
