I made friends with this guy at work months ago, before I broke up with my ex. I've been broken up with my ex for almost two months now and I think I might like the guy at work, but he still thinks that I'm with my ex. How can I let him know that I'm single again without making it look to obvious?

Don't hint. Men are terrible with hints. Just drop it into the conversation playfully. Something like, "I want to go see a movie but I'm not sure what to see. Since I'm single now, those romantic movies seem kinda silly. Can you recommend something I might like?" That way, he knows that you're single, that you're okay about it, that you're available for social engagements and that you value his opinion on something. Good luck!

I was in a similiar situation as you are, just casually bring it up in a conversation. I think I made a comment like "my loser of an ex" and that got his attention quickly. Just try to be sly about it......good luck
