I have dark brown hair, and a light yellow skin tone. I want highlights and not sure what colors to get. I do not look good with really light hair, so keep that in mind! I'm thinking a Carmel color, and also want another color in there, what other color should I get? (I don't like red by the way). How about a couple lowlights in the mix?

Carmel (golden blonde) and coffee colors would be pretty.

Carmel and a dark red color like maroon or burgundy would look good or even a lighter red would look good but if you don't like red then go with Carmel and another shade of brown like a light brown or dirty blond good luck and seasons greetings

I have very dark brown hair and very light skin. The last time I got highlights, I had her weave a caramel color and a dark blonde through and it looked awesome! It was just enough to lighten up my hair, but it wasn't too "blonde". Having the caramel in there as a "transition" color really helped soften up the lighter look.

I am Native American & my hair color is pretty flat. My hair is not quite black, but it is a very dark brown. I found that really like
L'Oreal - Natural Match - 4W
It adds warm golden highlights to my hair that are subtle but noticable. I like the color of my hair, but like I said it is pretty flat as far as highs & lows of color. This gives me just enough....
