Blah, I've got black spray-paint all over my hands, i've tried to use Alcohol to get it off, but that won't work. Any ideas? Thanks! Happy Holidays!

pure acetone will work. you can go to the hardware store or walmart and in the paint section there should be a small metal can of acetone. for a bit more, you can go to a Salley's or beauty Supply and get some pure acetone but it costs more for some reason even though it is the same thing. it is used to remove paint and acrylic nail enchancements. rub some on your hands and maybe scrub it with a small nail brush. it will come right off. then wash your hands well and maybe use some lotion. Not sure if it'll work, as I've never done this before but ... maybe if you mixed some sugar (just the granulated stuff) in with soap and water ... the friction might rub some of the paint off. Or use a fingernail brush to just scrub your hands ... It's worth a try, anyway!

Anything that will get it off is probably worse than the paint itself. Lacquer thinner will get anything off, but it's some seriously bad chemicals.

Wait a day and scrub like crazy with soap and a fingernail brush.

Paint thinner will work, but make sure you wash your hands quickly and throughly right afterwards with plenty soap to keep from burning your skin. Then put on some lotion.

try the product called goop. You can get it at wal mart and auto part stores. Use it on dry hands first and work in in well before you wash it off. Belive it or not even a little dab of crisco will work

Here is a great website with lots of beaut ideas - many of them non toxic and kind to skin I usually use a concentrated orange cleaner which I purchase from a specialist cleaning supplies store and it works beautifully with no harmful ill effects

I'd try white spirit - it's perfectly safe as long as you wash your hands afterwards. It works well with most types of paint

I always rub my hands with that WD-40 oil. It takes it right off and then you wash well with dishwashing soap to get the oil and the smell off.

A little unusual, but Carb and Choke Cleaner or Brake Cleaner.
