There is this guy who I have been friends with for a couple of years now and I have always known that he had a crush on me. We never talked about it or anything... I just knew. I am single now after a long relationship. He is a great guy, and there is actually a lot of chemestry between us. Sounds great right....
So here is the thing. He is a REALLY BIG guy! He is 6'4" 335lbs. I am 5'6" 130lbs. I have never been with anyone that big before. (He is a cutie pie by the way) Last night he spent the night (no sex... nothing). He has taken me out a few times lately and we have been spending a lot of time together and i am finding myself having feelings towards him.
Are you now or have you been in a relationship with someone of that build before? Or has that been a reason you didn't pusue a relationship? The way he looks really makes very little difference to me I am just curious.
Thanks! :)

His size is not holding me back. I like him a lot and really enjoyed having him sleep next to me last night. I was just wanting to hear stories from people. Not people telling me i am a bad person for even asking this question. Most of you are right though the thing i am most concerned about is if and when we ever have sex. I am not going to lead him on. If it is there (feelings) I will go for it but if it is not, I will be honest with him. it will all come down to what I feel in my heart not what i think in my head. Believe it or not I find him quite attractive. I just wanted to hear peoples experiences

All should be fine. You'll find ways to work things out, so to speak. You might want to be on top the first time.

If the way he looked made no difference to you then why are you asking this question. Obviously you have it in the back of your mind. People are all different! Shouldnt matter the size, build, color, anything. If you like him....then why are you wondering what you should do about his size and how do you think he would feel if he found out you were asking this question in the first place???? I think you need to think about yourself and figure out what you just said because it seems to me that the only thing that is holding you back is the way he looks. And dont lead him on (spending the night) just to crush him because of his looks.

I had the same issue with my ex...he was a big guy, about what you described but only about 6'1 and prolly 230. I initially wasnt attracted to him, but his personality made me look twice. We dated for about a year, and let me tell ya, i never had a better guy. We could takl about anything, we were super-tight, he understood me better than anyone, he took care of me...unfortunetly he moved to Naples, FL, from VT. So i didnt go along. We are still great friends though. I say go for it, you may have the best guy in front of you, and you may lose him. I kinda wish i had moved sometimes, but the past is the past. Good luck, and i sincerely hope you two are happy together. :)

The last girl i was with was about 150 % of my wieght and i'm not a small guy by any means. I'm about 200 lbs and although i never asked (that would be rude) i think she was pushing 300. But we got along well and she was easy to talk to and fun to be w/ and that was the important part to me. I say if you like the guy for who he is on the inside then don't worry about the outside just be w/ him.

If you dig him then it shouldn't make any difference...perhaps had you just met him, his size might be off-putting, but you already know him well from a 2 year friendship or acquaintanceship so you two had that going for you before you decided to date...
I've dated guys before that I got to know (usually online) fairly well before we met...enough to know I liked the person they seemed to be...when we met, their appearance didn't matter so much...whereas if I'd met that same person intially on the street, I likely wouldn't have given him a 2nd look because the initial physical attraction wasn't there...
Good luck to the two of you... :)

I don't think it should matter if others have been in a relationship with someone of that build before. I sense you are inscure about dating him because he isn't considered "normal" by society's standards. I say cast all caution to the wind and just date him. Who cares what others think.

Well you know this man wants to be with you. You know his size since you see him often does his size keep him from being a good person? I think you are thinking about what your friends will think but what did they think about your ex. Good men are indeed all around us we just keep looking them over. I am sure someone would love to have a good man that cares about them in their bed. Let him move on and find that woman.

Go for it, and don't care what other people think. Love is love. And if that's the way God wants you to have it, then do it. You both could live happily ever after. Ya never know.
Merry Christmas

Look, if you like him, if there's chemistry, good stuff happening... It's not shallow to consider looks. Anyone who says they care absolutely nothing about looks is lying. Looks matter at least a little to everyone. But what matters much much much more is chemistry and good feelings and fun and understanding and happiness... You know what to do.

That is not a shallow thing to say! It's ok silly!
This guy could play offensive lineman for an NFL team! He is MONSTEROUS!! I would not want him on top of me, lol! Anyways, I think you should give it a try if you have feelings for him. Good luck!
