Net love can be more frustrating and killing than the real love as the partner always has the option of not responding when needed. In the beginning it all looks really wonderful. It looks safe also as You dont have to be under the fear of getting caught since you are not meeting the person. But it is a slow poison which kills you without your knowledge. One fine day if the partner stops without any prior hint..the egony that you go through...for not being able to meet the person to ask...to question...to convince and to bring him back. Also most of the time it is all the wrong info. that gets translated as most of the people take the 'Net love' as just the time pass which is anyway not 'USEFUL'. So better love a person in real..with real sense...

Net love, phone love, pen-pals from earlier generations share a same concept. Cerebral match, "meeting of the minds'. However, this initial match is a good start and only a part of the whole. This initial chemistry has to be investigated and verified and also other passions, interests and habits in real life has to match. The Net may be considered another venue for meeting palookas. Instead of hauling your lazy boots to the piazza, you let your fingers surf the romantic frontiers of cyberspace anonymously. Reminds me of masquerade balls.

i met my wife on the internet. we spent a long time getting to know, really know, each other intellectually. we hit it off immediately and never rushed into things. my wife lived in canada and i lived in new york city. she is also indian, and i am a white guy. she is also muslim and i am not. luckily for me, she isn't religious but is quite spiritual. when we first met in canada, (niagara falls, to be exact), it was as if we knew each other all our lives. i loved her immediately. i was struck by her being, her smile, her life. i know we were lucky, or fortunate that neither of us was crazy or an axe murderer, etc. but yes, if you take your time, learn who the other person is, get inside their head and heart, rather than just their body, you can have net love. thasneem and i are wonderful examples of that. oh--and here's the funny part--as i write this, she is at a christmas party with her work colleagues, and i'm home alone.

I believe in it. I've met people on here who I have come to love as friends, and who love me the same way. I also care about people on here.

not really.
I mean.
even all the guys that Ive claimed to like,
I still cant say I fell in love with them over the internet.
the most you can do, I think, is to really get to know them.

people online are more willing to open up emailing or
sending IMs, more so than most people in person, up front.
