I think that because I try so hard puts them of. How can I stop looking for a girlfriend and just start seeing them as friends?

Focus on other activities that may or may not include females. These should be activities you enjoy doing like maybe bicycling or skating. Have fun. Enjoy yourself and relax. If a girl joins you in these activities or you meet someone incidentally, take things slowly while you really get to know the person.

Just stop worrying about it. I have the same problem and I have to evaluate how I approach people. Then I realize if I approach people like I don't care (about hooking up with them) I can talk to them longer and get to know them. Then they see the real me and then if they run I know it was because it was me and not me trying so hard.

Just do it...live your life without sizing up every female you meet for their girlfriend (or more) potential...treat everyone equally...get to know them...enjoy your life and go and do with your friends (male or female)...

...you'll find when you are digging life and not even missing having a girlfriend, is when someone will show up in your life who would be a good match for you...

connect some communities in school or get in touch in a political marketing campaign or volunteer to artwork at an animal defend or some thing like that. you will meet women which you would be able to get to be attentive to of course for the reason which you would be working mutually. that's plenty extra basic and don't rush issues. sturdy success!! : P

well you could try to go to the movies with them as friends but invite a bunch of other people. Just be yourself and dont try to impress them. Just act like a friend and listen to our problems and say that they are really great friends. We are complex people but it's not that hard to be our friend.

Spend time with girls that share your interests. Like the yearbook staff or the marching band. (I am assuming you are of school age, though you didn't say.) Try to show the same friendlyness to each of them without picking out one to be 'especially nice' to. When you zero in on one girl it may cause her to put up a barrier. Just be casual and try to think of 'girls' as just 'people'.

Stop trying to find love. If you meet a girl, just hang with her, goof around. Don't put so much emphasize on being her boyfriend and just be her "boy-friend".

i think the best thing to do (and what i'm currently doing right now) is to just simply stop going after the girls...let the girl come to you. most of the people i know say that they have gotten they're girlfriends when they least expected it...i'm a vicitm of this as well a while back. so just relax and lay low on going after the girls. let her find you. dont work yourself to death
