Most people in the world and even in the church are looking for one thing, LOVE. Kids, teens, and adults mistake LOVE for drugs, sex, bad relationships, gangs and UNGODLY social scenes. The lack of finding LOVE can result in withdrawal, depression, anxiety, and other forms of attacks. People are looking to be accepted even in the church which is also a form of LOVE seeking.
We often say we were born with a void only God can fill. That void is LOVE. People who lack a relationship with Jesus are lacking what true LOVE is. So in essence they are truly looking for God without knowing. God is LOVE. So if you are looking for Love why not accept the One who is Love, by having a relationship with His Son Jesus Christ.

Dude you are so right and then so wrong.
Yes we are all searching for Love and people fall in love with bad things unfortunately Religion is one of them.
Think about it for a second love is natural it brings people together to balance the natural order of things and so life is eternal. How can it be wrong to have more love for your partner than God?
God is love no God is created to control the love sick Lonely Hearts with promises of eternal happiness.
Don't follow Jesus take a leaf out of his book and Love your children help those you can and be good. If God exists he will respect the fact you did this out of the goodness of your heart rather than just trying to earn enough brownis points to get into heaven.
Love is life is love is the only truth the one eternal law.
