Its easy but very dangerous. The trick is to generate an intense magnetic field strong enough to curve bend light. If the field is roughly spherical in shape the light will bend around the field and while not completely invisible it would be pretty close. The appearance would be something along the lines of the special effects used in the Predator movies.

A possible way to do this would be to build a large powerful electromagnetic coil, and cycle it on and off at a very high frequency. The objective would be to allow the expanding and collasping fields to create something similar to a standing magnetic wave of extremely high intensity.

Some say that was what was tried in the Philiadephia experiment with disasterous effects. Look up both the Philadephia experiment and high freqency magnetic fields. You might want to reconsider becoming invisible.

I don't see why you would want to be invisible, but I suppose it depends on the situation that you're in and what makes you want to be invisible. Being invisible isn't all that great, and you would eventually miss not gettng any attention. Lonliness would set it, and that's never fun. If you're down, find someone to talk to. I'm always up for a chat if you need someone to talk with. Life's supposed to be an adventure full of everything. There'll be the bad times, but the good will come along eventually.

Believe it or not the invisibility cloak is now possible.

Here are a couple of articles each with a different technique. I find the first to be a bit cheesy, but functional. The second is currently limited to a narrow band of the EM spectrum, but in theory it is possible (but cost prohibitive) to extend it to the full visible spectrum.
